Fat Opie are doing a very special and intimate acoustic set at a.Muse Gallery. You can check out the gig at a.Muse Gallery on the 29th of May, 7PM. The loveable guys from San Francisco, bring to the stage their unique Americana sound consisting of the cool twang of banjos, mandolins and accordian. Fat Opie have had their fair share of history spanning back to over a decade. After a brief absence from the music, they reformed in 2007 and have been moving mountains ever since. The song “Bullets in My Briefcase” won a national band search which included a prize of $15,000. The song “Mouth Like a Trucker” has been featured in the motion picture ALONG THE WAY. Inspired by new possibilities, Fat Opie are writing their strongest material to date. Utilizing their varied instrumentations and far-reaching production they are a very exciting force to be reckoned with. Catch them on Saturday, 29th May at a.Muse Gallery,614 Alabama Street San Francisco, CA, doors Open 7pm, $8-$10. With special guests Sameer Torani and Kamp Camille.
