Blue Pie Records is pleased to announce that Swanee, has a new look media presence. Check it out at www.swaneemusic.com
The website captures a classic archive of images from his career – rock enthusiasts will love this classic trip down Australian rock history. John Swan has been part of the industry since he was 14 year old, playing first as a drummer, then as a singer with many of the countrys’ top rock and roll outfits.
In 1978 he released his first album “Into The Night” with WEA Records. Swanee’s first major chart success was a great rendition of Tim Hardin’s “If I Were A Carpenter” from the album “This Time It’s Different”. Success with the next 2 singles from the album immediately followed. “Lady What’s Your Name” and “Temporary Heartache” both screamed straight up the charts.
Swanee has remained one of Australia’s best-known live acts for over half a century. His full bio is here: www.swaneemusic.com/about
In 2017 Swanee was recognised for his work with various charitable organisations with the Order of Australia Medal (OAM). Later he teamed up with war veteran Rob Pickersgill to form the Warrior Music Project, which uses music to improve the lives of military veterans, police officers, and first responders.
Swanee is a Blue Pie Records USA artist and is available at all leading digital retailers on the planet.
