Get ready, Rob Marin’s new single, “That Summer”  is planned for release in late October  and is going to be a sure fire summer smash hit!

October Is breast cancer awareness month and the Gloria Gemma Breast Cancer Resource Foundation is hard at work planning the 7th Annual Flames of Hope: A Celebration of Life, the largest breast cancer awareness event in the Northeast.

At the Friday kickoff, singer/songwriter Rob Marin will join vocalist Kelley Lennon to premiere “I’ll Give Your Weak My Strength,” a song Marin and Greg Lato wrote and recorded specifically for the Foundation. The event is free and open to the public. The lyrics to “I’ll Give Your Weak My Strength” are based on conversations Marin and Lato had with some of the young breast cancer survivors appearing in the calendar.

“We were very inspired by their stories,” Marin said.
