In March 2006, three friends from Sydney formed the band The Aveonics. Such is their energy and dynamics that it took no time at all to establish themselves on the live scene, as a band not too be missed. The Aveonics are: Richard Coleman, (vocals/guitar) together with Glenn Austin, (guitar/vocals), Tanya Carboni, (drums/vocals), and James Courtney-Prior, (bass/vocals). The result is high energy rock pop with an edge, and a live show to match. The Aveonics are a testament to the movement of ‘rock’ and that bands, along with song writing, are alive and well.
In 2006, a chance meeting with legendary producer Peter Blyton took the band into the studio. Resulting in the self-titles five track EP, which caused a stir locally and raised ears internationally. The opening track, ‘Perfect”, sets the tone for the rest of the album to follow and lets you know that this band means business! The clip, for the title track, being a top 20 stable FM hit for 2005.
