With many song releases and a whole lot of gigs lined up, Johnny Bennett has made 2013 his year—and the critics are just beginning to take notice of his musical talent.

One of them is none other than the popular, Herald Times newspaper, which has recognised Johnny’s musical talent in Bloomington, Indiana and was so impressed, that they’ve listed AND featured Johnny as their “Pick Of the Week” as seen below. The news clip praises Johnny Bennett on his original and genuine sound: “Bennett & Stone, with Johnny Bennett – vocals, Mike Stone – Piano, performing standards from the Great Australian Songbook. They focus on jazz standards from the 1950s and 1960s. For all ages. 7pm at Café Django.”
