Earlier this year, DL Down3r teamed up with Uno Tha Prodigy and brought us something really special – Road Ahead, which is an emotional piece for sure, and it’s spoken from two individuals who know a lot more struggles than most. They really had to grind hard to become the successful artists which they are today, and they aren’t shy to tell you – because with the pain and passion in their words and talent, you’ll know they aren’t lying about it. It’s a sobering song, and the fast paced rap gives it a frantic energy that will suck you in with just a few bars. You can hear the emotion in the chorus, the passion in the fast rap flow, and the depth of the experiences in the lyrics. The chorus complements the rap beautifully, each note resonating with the appropriate amount of melancholy that this track deserves.
