Amanyea Stines aka Amanyea is a recording artist and professional dancer born in Kingston, Jamaica from a very talented and creative family. Her mother is Dr. L’Antionette Stines, former Broadway performer and currently the artistic director of the world-renowned dance company, L’ACADCO (a united Caribbean dance force). Her older brother, Aaron Vereen, musician and master drummer, influences Amanyea’s taste and joys in music.
She holds a Bachelor of Science in Public Relations gained via the University of Miami, and has performed with Miami Heat Dance Team in 2012. Amanyea achieved various qualifications in the field of dance and has choreographed and danced for artists such as: Sean Paul, Shaggy, Jimmy Cliff, Cardi B, Damian Marley, Beenie Man, Machel Montana, Tessanne Chin, Anthony B, Jidenna, Tifa, Etana, TOK, Cecile, Kreesha Turner and more. As a talented dancer Amanyea has toured the U.S.A, Europe, UK, and throughout the Caribbean. She is also featured in the movie, “King of the Dancehall,” produced by Nick Cannon.
In 2014 after graduating from university and having achieved so much as a dancer already, Amanyea decided it was time to pursue her lifelong dream of becoming a recording artist. Her style of music is a blend between pop, reggae and dance hall on sexy, funky and sassy rhythms to create an eccentric and spunky sound with an outlandish twist.
“Aye Aye” is the first single out since September 7th, 2018 by Blue Pie Records USA and her management team Talabi Entertainment. The single was released globally with targeted marketing in the Caribbean, Europe, UK, Asia, Africa, Canada and the US.
The world is now experiencing Amanyea, the perfect combination of movement and melody on this reggae/afrobeat fusion sound.
Amanyea is a DJ Central Records and Blue Pie Records USA artist and is published by Blue Pie Publishing USA (ASCAP).
