Pete Hawkes will be playing Lizottes in Sydney on Thursday, August 4th alongside Phil Emmanuel.
When a guitar virtuoso and one of Australia's most creative composers and blues guitarists team up, the result is unforgettable. Pete Hawkes is a composer with the ability to transcend several musical genres and he is certainly one of Australia's most creative and interesting composers for acoustic music to emerge in the last decade with over 30 albums covering jazz, blues, Celtic, and classical music including concerto's and orchestral works. The last couple of years have been an amazing time for guitarist Phil Emmanuel: not only did he perform to an estimated worldwide audience of 4.5 billion at the closing ceremony of the Sydney Olympics with brother Tommy, but the recent 50th year aniversary tour with his younger brother in 2010 was the beginning of the forgotten sons return to the limelight and recognition that he so undeniably deserves. One show only, one chance to see Australia's greatest musical talent in a rare combination in the same show. Be quick!
Show ticket only with a a-la-carte menu and Bar Menus available $28.00
Lizottes is a fantastic music and dining venue. So come along, have some food, a drink and say hello to Pete!
