Soulman O’Gaia is an experienced international artist and presenter of Jamaican descent based in the Northern Rivers of NSW near Byron Bay. His latest release is called ‘Freedom Songs’ a genre hopping collection of 13 positive and uplifting original tunes.

Soulman, who has featured alongside John Butler, Paul Kelly, Xavier Rudd, Archie Roach, Frank Yamma and Tiddas, is an artist who has honed his stage craft around inspirational songs, the use of multiple instruments, strong audience interaction and an impressive 4 octave vocal range. Internationally acclaimed Krystle Warren (Rufus Wainwright, Jools Holland) tagged his recent guest spot as “Amazing”. Amid countless other performances he has also recently opened the show for the iconic Australasian’s Dragon and for The Commitments on the Brisbane leg of their Australian tour.

Soulman’s music is a distinctive blend of various cherished influences including Soul, Blues, Jazz, Gospel and Reggae.
